　　第一部分虚拟语气

　　1虚拟语气存在于if条件句中和一些固定结构中。

　　2. 虚拟语气总是与动词过去的某种时态形影不离。

　　一般过去时did

　　过去完成时had done had been done

　　过去进行时was/were doing

　　过去将来时would/should do

　　过去将来完成时would /should have done

　　过去将来进行时would/should be doingwould/should do

　　3. 虚拟语气是通过谓语动词的变化来实现的。

　　If only I had been to Paris last year

　　第一节if 条件句中的虚拟语气

　　一、表示对将来、过去、现在的虚拟

　　If he invites me tomorrow. I will go to his party.

　　(强调行为在将来发生的可能性大一一真实条件句)

　　If he invited me tomorrow, I would go to his party

　　(强调行为在将来发生的可能性小一一虚拟条件句)

　　虚拟条件句:

　　1.表示对将来的虚拟:

　　a If he invited me tomorrow. I would go to his party

　　b. If he should invite me tomorrow. I would go to his party

　　clf he were to invite me tomorrow. I would go to his party

　　d. Were he to invite me tomorrow. I would go to his party

　　was 不会出现在虚拟语气的正确选项中

　　(强调行为在将米发生的可能性小)

　　真实:He will probably not invite me tomorrow, so I will not go to his party.

　　小结:

　　I. was, may不会出现在虚拟语气中。

　　2. Should 出现在主句中，主语一定是1或we.而would'couldmight不受人称的限制。

　　★★2.表示对过去的虚拟:

　　If he had invited me yesterday. I would have been to his party

　　(表示与过去发生事实相反)

　　真实:He did not invite me yesterday . so I did not go to his party

　　If I had followed your advice last year, I would have been a college student

　　b. If I had not followed your advice last week. I would have missed the train

　　对比:

　　Hadn't I followed your proposal，错误

　　Had I not followed your proposal，正确

　　I would have failed the final exam.

　　3.表示对现在的虚拟:

　　If he invited me now, I would go to his party.(表示与现在发生事实的相反)

　　真实:He does not invite me, so l do not go to his party

　　二、含蓄条件句(but for,without )

　　I. But for your help. I would have failed in the exam

　　2.Without water now. there would not be living things

　　★★三、混合虚拟语气

　　1.过去+现在

　　a lf you followed my advice, you would be a college student now.

　　b. If you had followed my advice last year, you would have been a college student

　　c.If you had followed my advice last year. you would be a college student.

　　If I were you,

　　从句现在

　　I would have come back.

　　主句过去

　　2. must have done, or/or else/otherwise，__

　　he stayed in hospital last week, or I would have met him at the meeting.

　　变体:He was busy prepanng the final exam, or he would have given you much help.

　　=He must have been busy preparing the final exam, or he would have given you much help.

　　If he had not prepared the final exam. he would have given you much help.

　　3. would have done + but后面是对过去发生的事实的描述。

　　I would have visited you last night, but I had an unexpected visitor.

　　If I had not had an unexpected visitor,I would have visited you last night

　　四、I『条件句中的倒装结构(主句不倒装，从句要倒装)

　　1.表示对将来的虚拟的倒装

　　a Should he invite me tomorrow. I would go to his party.

　　b. Were he to invite me tomorrow. I would go to his party

　　2.表示对过去的虚拟的倒装

　　a Had he invited me yesterday ,

　　b. I would have been to his party.

　　3.表示对现在的虚拟的倒装

　　a lf he invited me now.

　　b. I would go to his party.

　　Were I free now,

　　d I would go to his party.

　　第二节固定结构中的虚拟语气

　　固定结构中的虚拟语气表达的都是说话人的一种良好愿望。

　　一、It is (about/high)time that +从句did

　　a It is about time we had class.

　　b. It is time we prepared theZSB entrance exam

　　二，wish+(不可实现的)

　　一般过去时(现在)

　　过去完成时(过去)

　　Should/would +动词原形(将来)

　　aI wish he were ten years old

　　b. We wish he stayed with us forever

　　c. American wish Obama could solve the financial crisis(金融危机)I wish I had been to Parts

　　last week,

　　d. I wish I had not lost my bike

　　e. He wishes he would go to college next year.

　　三、ifonly 译为:要是...就好了If only 可与 wish 互换

　　一般过去时

　　Ifonly+过去完成时

　　should/would+原形

　　a Ifonly he were ten years old.

　　b. If only he stayed with us forever.

　　c. If only Obama could solve the financial crisis.(金融危机)If only I had been Paris last week

　　d. If only I had not lost my bike.

　　e Ifonly he would go to college next year

　　注:Ifonly

　　If only he had invited me yesterday. I would have been to his party

　　四、would rather, would sooner, would as soon, had done 过去 did 现在did 将来

　　I would rather stay home for the time being than work outside.

　　I would rather you stayed home for the time being

　　一般过去时(对现在虚拟)

　　过去完成时(对过去的虚拟)

　　would (should,could)+动词原形(对将来的虚拟)
